I just received a beautiful silver  Rio Bracelet from Monica Vinader , thank you !! [See my post on 08/02/11] . They come in 8 colours each with a different meaning. Try wearing them stacked up and mixed with other bracelets, as i am doing !

My philosophy totally. Johnny is currently performing at the Royal Court Theatre with Juliet Stephenson as well as being a celebrated folk singer/musician.

The Dior Addict Launch at The Wyld Bar , W Hotel today.

 Today was the Dior Addict make-up launch in the beautiful Wyld Bar at the new W hotel. Felt like i was at home with all the mirror balls.Am currently slightly obsessed with jewel coloured Dior nail varnish so from left to right :Aloha,Nirvana,Perfecto,Rock Coat[smoky top coat]and Violet Nouveau Monde.I am wearing Paradise [top] and Aloha [below] . Available from May !!!!

LFW Day 5 Dress of The Day : Roksanda Ilincic

 Today's dress a bright blue floor length satin gown by Roksanda Ilincic [The colour is actually much closer to the added swatch than my drawing!]The collection is inspired by exotic birds so apologies for my colour matching skills today . Its been a long week. 

LFW Day 4 "Dress" of the Day : Giles

Ok so today is strictly not a dress but you have to love this exaggerated  feathered skirt pulled in by a leather corset over a crisp white shirt.In Giles Deacon's words "something buttoned up ,but at the same time with something completely wild underneath." More than a touch of Black Swan.A beautiful mix of extravagant historical references and minimalism .

LFW Dress of the Day : Osman Yousefzada

Another very graphic dress today by Osman Yousefzada apparently inspired by Catherine Yass' work "Decomissioned", a panelled leather and boucle wool striped trapeze style piece.A very graphic collection with base colours of black and white plus super bright accents of orange, turquoise, hot pink ,lime and red .

Todays choice is from Kinder Aggugini's collection inspired by the style of Peggy Guggenheim.Seemingly naive details of raw edging, dip dying,top stitching beautifully held together  by immaculate tailoring and construction. Both chic and rock and roll.See 18/02/11 for shoot with Kinder Aggugini.

LFW Dress of the day : Sass and Bide

Looking at winter clothes when its still winter, never fills me with enthusiasm , so i loved Sass and Bide's collection with a palate of fuschia , orange and coral with a mix of textures and fabrics . This is my favorite dress with a black and white Ikat print and feathery skirt and an elegant 20's shape.It may not be very traditionally fall but its beautiful. Look out for my favorite dress every day this week .  

Straight Men of British Fashion

Back on the 3rd and 7th February we shot 3 "apparently" rare straight fashion designers for E.S. magazine . As Kinder Aggugini points out ,'I am not the only straight man in the fashion village. There are actually loads of us. You just don't know about us.' Very interesting feature written by Simon Mills discussing the issue of why women's fashion is dominated by gay men. [If , in fact , it still is.]

Shooting at the Royal Court Theatre in Sloane Square today, Can reveal who in a few weeks time.At the moment they are showing "The Heretic " by Richard Bean and "Our Private Life " by Pedro Miguel Rozo .

Three Great Mascaras

Ok ,so inventing a new mascara may not be saving the world....these 3 are pretty great though.
1.Clinique's new "Bottom Lash Mascara" has a smudge resist formula and a tiny brush to make the task easier. Why did no one think of this before ?
2.Dior's "Diorshow 360" mascara with a unique revolving brush rotates upwards to coat upper lashes , and downwards for lower lashes . Simple!
3.Mac's "Wonder Woman Opulash " mascara wins for its fantastic packaging and 3 great colours. "Themyscira"- bright blue,"Army of Amazons"-green,and"Victorious"-purple and black.
I'm using them all at the moment !
